TECHNICAL
DESCRIPTION AND WORKING ORDER |
 |
 |
 |
 |
| |
| Most seeders have
incorporated the use of electronic equipments to
control their functions. So sowing controllers are
used, which not only report on the seed and fertilizer
dosing but also allow to know the values of the
progression speed, the working capacity, the sowing
volume and the amount of seeds per meter of furrow.
They also detect problems in the seed delivery,
lower or higher dosings according to the target
or sealed bodies that do not deliver seeds. |
| |
| Specific
site
Recorders, which are included in some models,
take the information showed by the controllers
to illustrate and place it on the specific site
of the lot, on the respective map, through DGPS
technology. This way, density, dose, sowing velocity
records and the like are obtained.
How
they work
Controllers are fed through sensors individually
placed on each discharge pipe that detect the
path of each seed. From these specifications,
the seed volume sown per hectare is calculated
and shown in real time, that is to say as soon
as the sowing is taking place. The same control
is obtained for the fertilizer but calculated
in Kg/ha. While all this is taking place,
a radar, a GPS or a tachometer, according to the
seeder model, measures the progression speed of
the equipment and the multiplicity by a constant
that takes into account the sowing width. This
way, the value of the hectares sown per hour is
obtained. And all the information is shown in
the controller console in real time.
Golden
Our experts have developed, for all our seeders,
a sowing computer where all the electronic equipment
needed to regulate, operate and control every
task is incorporated into an only console.
This innovation not only puts together in an only
product all the characteristics already described
but also adds the functions of the user and maintenance
manual of the machines, such as: sowing sheets
and calculations for the fertilizer doses.
Working capacity
The Golden computer, through an only control and
command element, operates all the implantation
functions controling the dosing of more than 40
sowing sections, as well as the many others fertilization
sections. But there is still more about this integration
equipment. Also on its screen it offers the instruction
according to the position of the control levers
of the sowing density to achieve the required
dosing. This information until now, was only included
in the user and maintenance manual of the equipment.
And it continues being this way in all the nacional
manufacturing seeders, except in Agrometal seeders,
that now offer this extra benefit.
Without chains
In the models with electrohydraulic transmission
(without chains nor gear wheels in an important
section of the transmission, for example in the
IOM model) the Golden computer operates the movement
of the dosing machine axis, recording the information
and gauging the sowing density and the fertilization
dosis from its control panel, operating in one
of the two following ways: a) from the push-buttons
on the screen where the operator programs the
densities that he wants to sow, b) from a memory
card where the agronomic prescription are described
for the distribution of the seed, according to
the information shown by a GPS.

Screen
To show the most useful information as clear as
possible, the Golden console has the screen in vertical
position, making its assembly on modern tractors
easier. On the other side, the layout of the information
is extremely useful with the remarkable data constantly
shown with big letters. Below these ones, in smaller
numbers and in other colors, the additional information
is shown. Another advantage is that the situations
of normal working order are shown in green color,
the ones that require precaution are shown in yellow
color and the anomaly notices are shown in red color. |

Friendly
The graphic operating system turns out to be very
friendly, intuitive, easy reading and handling,
it can be operated through a membrane keyboard
or a touch screen system. On the lower part the
push-buttons are placed, that reactivate the handling
in synchronization and there is always a help
text for each one moment.
Information
The Golden computer shows permanently on the screen
the sowing velocity in real time in Km/h, the
working capacity developed in ha/h, the seed dose
every 10 meters, together with the volume of seeds/ha
distributed in the land. An hectare counter shows
the partial that is been sowing with a chronometer
that points out the elapsed time (dead time included).
Besides, for pneumatic seeders it shows the velocity
of the turbine in r.p.m. In equipments provided
with the variable dose technology, it shows the
programmed densities and the fertilization dose
(IOM model).
In case the equipment stopped working or showed
any other anomaly, all the respective information
is recorded. In the middle of the screen are shown,
through graphics, the density values of each furrow
with its allowed minimum and maximum levels according
to the applied configuration and the half density
used.
Also, on the right side of the screen, it has
the icons belonging to the sensors of the axis
rotation. It records the last 6 sowing lots, the
total of hectares and the working hours.

Alarms
The equipment has alarms for the wrong sowing density,
for the scattering among furrows for five independent
rotation axis, for the excess of the sowing velocity
and for the fall in the r.p.m. of the turbina to
keep the needed suction. |
 |
Some other features
- Monitor adjustment: it is possible
to modify the controls, the brightness and color
of the screen as well as the sound volume. |
 |
| - GPS: one of
the screens is similar to the one that has the Hand-GPS.
This section has a last-generation receiver for
12 channels with integrated DGPS (WAAS, EGNOS systems).
It can be watched the coordenates, latitude/lenght,
altitude, velocity, satellite signal level, satellite
position, PDOP, time and date. |
 |
| - Seeder: the
computer screen is configured according to the amount
of furrows, to the distance among the sections,
to the wheel diameter, (for sowing without GPS),
to the pulses per wheel and turbina revolution,
to the distribution system, to the transmission
axis nº 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, etc. |
 |
| - Simulation:
when the GPS or the wheel sensor do not work, the
velocity can be simulated and the equipment controls
the scattering among furrows, the sowing faults,
the fertilizer axis faults or the turbine faults. |
