Agrometal is a prominent Argentine company located in Monte Maíz, Córdoba province, specializing in manufacturing seed drills for both fine and coarse grains. Founded in 1950 by a group of 47 local entrepreneurs, the company has developed a strong track record in the agro-industrial sector, standing out for its innovation capacity and commitment to quality.
The inception of Agrometal in 1950 marked the beginning of a company dedicated to meeting the needs of the local agricultural sector. In its early years, the company focused on producing basic agricultural implements, quickly gaining recognition for the quality and durability of its products.
A significant milestone in Agrometal's history was the appointment of Juan Carlos Negrini as accountant in 1956. Not only did Negrini play a crucial role in the company's financial management, but he also took over its leadership until his passing in 2000. Under his guidance, Agrometal experienced sustained growth, diversifying its product line and modernizing its production processes.
Currently, Agrometal is presided over by Rosana Negrini, who has continued her father Juan Carlos Negrini's legacy. Under her leadership, the company has strengthened its market position, focusing on innovation and international expansion. Rosana Negrini has been a key figure in modernizing the company and implementing sustainable practices.
In 2004, Agrometal inaugurated a new industrial plant of 22,000 square meters, equipped with a fully automated mass production system. At the heart of this plant is an intelligent overhead conveyor, similar to those used in automotive terminals, which optimizes the manufacturing process and ensures high efficiency in the production of seed drills. Recently, the company also inaugurated new warehouses and a spare parts depot, improving its logistics and customer service capabilities. Currently, Agrometal employs around four hundred people in a 25,000 square meter plant, situated on a 19-hectare site.
Quality has always been a priority for Agrometal. In November 2007, the company obtained certification for its Quality Management System under the ISO 9001:2000 standard, reflecting its commitment to excellence in all aspects of its operations.
Agrometal specializes in the manufacture of seed drills for various types of crops and soils. The company continuously invests in research and development, incorporating advanced technology into its robust and reliable equipment, enabling farmers to optimize input usage and maximize yields.
Agrometal not only has a strong presence in the Argentine market but has also expanded its reach internationally, exporting its products to various countries in Latin America and Europe. Furthermore, the company is listed on the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange, underscoring its transparency and financial solidity. Agrometal also stands out for its social and environmental responsibility, implementing sustainable practices in its production processes and participating in community and educational initiatives in Monte Maíz and its surroundings.
